The IMService USB-DRO system consists of software and hardware that provides an encoder count display on a 32-bit Windows O/S computer (XP, Vista). The display and type of counting is user configurable. A hardware counter powers the Digital Read Out with up to 4 channels. The dedicated counters operate at speeds up to 1,000,000 counts per second, and each has a 24-bit binary capacity. The number of axes, count modes, colors and on-screen scaling of the display is variable to suit the user tastes and the physical construction of the machine. The user supplies rotary or linear, quadrature encoders or other sensor devices that provide the counts to the counter board.
This system includes 3 or 4 sets of premium cables, certified up to at least 85,000 steps per second. When used with the SV-500 servo drivers installed in IMService SYS-3A, SYS-4B, Kit3 and Kit4 products, this counter system will share the encoders on the servo motors, both maintaining the same count as the CNC controller, and also holding commanded position.
Now includes digitizer function at no extra charge. Record positions to a file with a mouse click. Use it for reverse engineering, CMM functions, surface scan data, 2D countours for milling and turning, records all displayed axes, including rotary.
