CNC retro fit kit for X2 Chinese mini-mill

This kit is designed to provide a simple and quick conversion of a manual
mini-mill ( Seig X2) into a CNC ready machine.  The X and Y axis are bolt
on and require no modification to the current versions of these mills. The
components are designed to assemble with the IMService, Globe servo motors
with belt reducers.

This kit should fit the following brands and models:

87-115-905 Travers Tool
03947 Homier Mini Mill
44991 Harbor Freight Mini Mill
7877 Cummins Mini Mill
82573 Micro-Mark Mini Mill
G8689 Grizzly Mini Mill

The kit consists of precision, replacement, acme thread lead screws with brass
adjustable backlash lead nuts and pre loaded thrust bearings.  A slight
modification is needed on the spindle-housing mount to make clearance for
the Z axis lead screw.  This casting modification is not included with the
kit, but a modification service is available.  Casting is shown in the photo above
to illustrate the Z axis assembly. Spindle mounting casting is not included in the kit.


A stepper version is also available with flex coupling and NEMA23
stepper motor standoffs.

4 axis configurations include motors and cables but not a rotary table.
